During this project the Young Volunteers had to make and bake various snacks for the residents of Salford Foyer. This project enabled the Young Volunteers to explore the issues surrounding Homelessness and develop empathy towards homeless people and their differing situations.
This opportunity gave the Young Volunteers the chance for their creative and cooking skills to show! The project consisted of the YV’s using the school kitchens to cook brownies, flapjacks and cookies.
