During this project the Young Volunteers from Oasis Academy MediaCityUK participated in a charity walk around Salford Quays which was 3 miles long. This walk was held at night time and was a night of neon theme. All participants in the walk had to wear neon paint and there was neon lights lighting up the sky. The reason the Young Volunteers participated in this walk was to bring awareness to how cancer can affect people lives and the people living around them.
