Over one week Oasis Academy had visitors from India in and around the Academy looking at our lessons and finding out differences between teaching practices.
This was part of UKIERI Northwest project and our visitors were able to interact with students as they greeted them and took them on tours of our Academy. Our India visitors were then also taken on tours of Salford Quays near MediaCityUK where our new site will be and the city of Manchester.
On arrival to our academy students gave an extremely warm reception with music and gifts followed by an exciting assembly with the Academy choir, drama group and year 7 creative Curriculum giving excellent performances.
