The Academy Press Club took time to visit our £24m build on MediaCityUK where they wrote there thoughts on the progress and got the chance to show off the exciting new structure to visitors!
From the Press Club:
We were taken on a tour of the new school site. It is coming along very well; the windows are being fitted in as we speak. The structure is nearly finished and will soon be ready for us to move in! We took plenty of photographs for you to see the progress.
We were taken round the site with Mr Ottley O Connor, Mr Berry, Mr Goodman and our visitor Shantanu Dutta (the head of oasis in India). We had to wear helmets, safety goggles, gloves, steel toe capped boots and high vis-vests. We looked so funny!
Shantanu, our visitor, enjoyed the tour and will be coming back to see the finished building! He said "this looks very impressive, I cannot wait to see it finished!"
At the end of the tour, Shantanu was presented with a computer generated, framed image of the school. So he can show everybody back in India what it is going to look like!
