The Royal Pigeon Racing Association "One Loft Race" Ace Pigeon is awarded to the pigeon with the highest average velocity over the four Hot Spot races and the Final race. The Ace Pigeon has been awarded to Oasis Academy MediaCityUK, Salford (Ring Number GB 09 R 29030) sponsored by the RPRA North West Region with a velocity of 1515. The pigeon is from the loft of the Barton Brothers in Wigan. As a result the academy was awarded a cheque of £1240 which was gratefully received at a presentation evening on Friday 12th March 2010. The academy would like to thank the RPRA forinviting them and are looking forward to the new season.
Finally the academy pigeon will be flying in 4 competitions in the next 2 months and its progress can be followed at the following web address www.rpra.org
