Young People and Decision Making Have you ever thoughts about how your son/daughter will go about making crucial decisions about their future? Oasis Academy MediacityUk will be hosting a workshop during the Autumn term on Careers Skills for Parents and Carers. 

The course will help parents and carers understand the following:

• The range and variety of decisions being made by young people today
• The role of Information, Advice and Guidance progressionals int he decision making process and how they can help your son/daughter
• Some of the skills, such as active listening, that can be used to help you support your son or daughter when they are looking at choices and options for the future
• Resources available to help you and them find out more and get the best, most up to date information on choices, options and opportunities.

Who We Are

The Parents' Community is a group of Parents & Carers who started meeting half termly in January 2011, to discuss Academy related issues. The aim of the Parents' Community is to enhance the academic and personal growth of the students and bring about change, through engaging parents in school life.
