Year 9

  • Careers education: Employer engagement.  How can curriculum subjects be applied in the workplace?
  • Careers Education: How to plan your future in relation to GCSE options, post 16 qualifications and university?

  • Workplace safaris – experience of the workplace
  • Enterprise day careers fair – encounters with HE, FE, training providers, alumni and employers
  • Information evening regarding option choices
Year 10 
  • Careers education: Employer engagement.  How can curriculum subjects be applied in the workplace?
  • Careers education: What are our options post 16? What is it like to do an apprenticeship? What it is like at university? How can we find a job? Why is it important to impress at interview? How do we make ourselves stand out?

Year 11

  • Follow up calls in September to check student destinations and ensure local authority engagement
