We are incredibly proud of one of our Year 10 students, Paridhi, who has shown great initiative and passion for supporting literacy within our school community. Taking it upon herself to create a space where students, staff and visitors can freely share and borrow books, Paridhi has developed a Community Book Shelf, now proudly displayed in our school reception area. The initiative was supported by the National Literacy Trust, who generously provided the bookshelf and a selection of books. Paridhi, however didn't stop there - she also contributed several of her own books from home, making the shelf even more personal and welcoming for others. The bookshelf will serve a valuable resource for everyone in our school to enjoy, promoting literacy and a sense of shared responsibility for encouraging reading. We are proud of Paridhi's creativity, dedication, and leadership in bringing the project to life.
