Othello - Performance Perfection

The auditorium was transformed into the globe theatre last week when the whole of year 7 gave a riveting performance of the Shakespearean tragedy Othello. There were numerous stand-out performances – Yousef’s stirring rendition of Emilia’s heartbreak in the final scene and Sarah’s delightfully diabolic Iago, to name but two. Most would agree, however, Daniel stole the show with his hilarious antics as the drunken Cassio. With rave reviews coming in from all who were lucky enough to be there – cries of ‘Encore!’ echoed throughout after the final scene - it surely won’t be long before the auditorium opens its stage to more performances. Bravo!
